Place Lodge

This beautiful Victorian cottage was originally the coachman’s house and stands at the bottom of the Place drive only 100 yards from the slipway. One of its main features is its wonderfully sunny and sheltered patio. There is also a garden.

Downstairs there is a light, pretty sitting room and kitchen, a single bedroom with room for a cot or put up bed and a shower room/cloakroom.

Upstairs there is a double bedroom and twin bedded room and bathroom.

The back door opens onto a secret, paved courtyard, surrounded by ancient stone walls covered in rambling roses and honeysuckle. A door in the wall leads to the car parking area on the other side of which is a small sheltered lawn, ideal for picnics with small children and for kicking a ball around.
